      ABSTRACT: A coaxial nonthe你火rmal plasma (NTP) reactor was used 不制for the removal of nitric oxide in短放 mist. The effects of disc農日harge gap, thorn number, tooth s冷身lice number as well as dis開歌charge polarity on N一好O oxidation and NOx 如校removal were investigated. Decrea跳火sing the discharge gap is favorab她暗le for the NO oxidation and NO生藍x removal. The mist is almost ca服答ptured completely even under a r下樂elative low input energy. Increa議空sing the thorn number of腦服 discharge slice or tooth slic說低e number facilitates the energy in子子put in the plasma reac子跳tor and thus enhances the NO ox術長idation and NOx removal under用見 a fixed applied voltage. 子慢The energy efficiency for the positi放月ve DC (4.5g NO/kWh) is three times a爸工s much as that for the negati黃日ve DC (1.5 g NO/kWh), correspon作業ding to NO oxidation efficiency of 村森around 80%.
