For ammonia flue gas des頻那ulfurization (FGD), the sulfite t低個o sulfate oxidation is ver鐘得y critical for industrial applicati土快ons. This paper reports a novel corona 土場plasma-induced oxidation technique to 兒讀convert concentrated ammonium s機新ulfites to sulfates in店村 an aqueous solution. The短國 streamer corona plasm快了as are generated with a見還 dc superimposed ac power sou員亮rce. Ammonium sulfite s歌喝olution is sprayed in a reactor 吧現by using two-phase nozzles. W商見hen the sulfite conce吧年ntration is around 1–3 mol/L , the oxidation effic外身iency after one-cycle proces章會sing is in the range o離離f 20–60%. Multiple-cycle tr制子eatments can be used to請討 improve the oxidation efficien空動cy. The energy consumption is 謝上around 20 W/ mol . Based on the p雨唱resent investigations, we anticipa不街te that an industrial plasma-問下assisted ammonium FGD can be applied 討呢in industries.
