For ammonia flue gas desulfurization 城白(FGD), the sulfite to sul樹嗎fate oxidation is very critical for in區美dustrial applications. This paper rep喝哥orts a novel corona plasma-in高爸duced oxidation technique 短說to convert concentrated ammoni會海um sulfites to sulfates in an aqueous s業化olution. The streamer coron舊廠a plasmas are generated wit草老h a dc superimposed ac志市 power source. Ammonium sulfite so離麗lution is sprayed in 腦司a reactor by using two-phase n爸亮ozzles. When the sulfite concentration 美場is around 1–3 mol/L , the oxidation efficiency after o裡媽ne-cycle processing is in th了睡e range of 20–60%. Multiple-cy下做cle treatments can be used to improve 服玩the oxidation efficiency. The energy 會了consumption is around 20 W/ mol .
